Producer | Narrative Lead

April 2018 - May 2019

EMPATH is an action VR brawler with a focus on gesture-based, buttonless gameplay developed for the Oculus Rift in Unreal Engine.


As Producer, I set goals and assigned weekly tasks to a team of 30 people, using Trello and Excel scrum sheets to make sure we hit project milestones.


As Narrative Lead, I lead 2 other narrative designers to produce concise, in-character dialogue for the final demo, as well as a sequence of events for designers to follow in level blocking and boss fight design. 

Additionally, my responsibilities included: 

  • Using Unreal Engine to prototype and test dialogue blocking. 

  • Personally handling the task assignment and general management of two departments. 

  • Working with two other producers in weekly meetings to calculate project trajectory and set project goals. 

  • Managing project documentation and task assignment. 

This game has demoed at USC Games Expo 2019 and Indiecade 2019.
